Jeremy Renner Is Selling His $13 Million L.A. Home Where He Recovered from Horrific Snowplow Accident
The ‘Hawkeye’ star was critically injured in January 2023 after he was run over by a 14,300-lb. snowplow in Reno, Nev.
Jeremy Renner is looking to say goodbye to the home where he recovered from his harrowing snowplow accident in 2023.
The 9,000-square-foot property, located in the Nichols Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles, has been listed with an asking price of $12.9 million
Renner purchased the six-bedrooms, nine-bathroom mid-century modern home for just $4 million in 2012 and spent nearly $5.5 million to renovate and expand upon the original structure, according to the Wall Street Journal.
He was originally drawn to the unique architecture of the home and the close-knit neighborhood it was located in.
“You typically don’t get a lot of neighborly love in Los Angeles,” he told the outlet. “This was a wonderful little micro-community.”

Despite Renner designing the property to be his “forever home,” he said he’s officially ready to let go of it in an effort to downsize and “focus on his recovery” following the accident, per WSJ.
On Jan. 1, 2023, the Hawkeye star was run over by a 14,300-lb. snowplow in Reno, Nev. that left him in “critical but stable condition” after undergoing surgery for his severe injuries, Renner’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.
It was later revealed that the accident occurred while he was helping a family member get a "stuck" vehicle out of the estimated 3 feet of snowfall from the night before.
Though he’s accepted that he’ll be in recovery for “the rest of my life,” he told PEOPLE in May, he has also been pushing himself to overcome certain fears like getting back into the driver’s seat of his snowplow.

While Renner’s primary home is in Nevada, he liked having his California abode so he could be closer to his 11-year-old daughter, Ava, who is based there, according to WSJ. The single-story home was perfect for him during his recovery as he didn’t have to go up or down any stairs, he added.
