Jenny McCarthy is getting candid about her annual tradition of renewing her vows with husband Donnie Wahlberg.

The Masked Singer judge, 51, revealed on the July 17 episode of SiriusXM's Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast that she originally didn’t like the idea of couples renewing their vows every year — until she married the Blue Bloods actor.

“I used to make fun of celebrities when they would do it, or people in general, when they renew their vows,” she admitted. “I'm like, ‘That's so corny and weird. Your wedding's over. Just stay married,’ and then Donnie — this is a tradition Donnie wanted to implement.”

“He's like, ‘I want to remind each other of our vows’ ... like our pastor reminisces about the year and gives us a thing to think about as the year goes on," she continued. “So, there is something nice about it.”

However, she noted that Wahlberg often likes to surprise her with the vow renewals and they sometimes don’t come at the most opportune times.

“Only time where I've been like, ‘Eh,’ is [when I rounded] a corner and I'm, like, in sweatpants and my hair [is undone] and no makeup, and then there's the pastor and a violinist. And I'm like, ‘Uh, Donnie?,’ ” she recalled. “So, that's the only part that I'm like, ‘What the hell?’ But now we're going on 10 years, so…”

“You've had 10 vow renewals?,” host Kelly Ripa asked, to which McCarthy confirmed, “Ten vow renewals.”

Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa cohost Jan Schillay noted that McCarthy and Wahlberg were “proving” them wrong about vow renewals.

The Scream 3 actress went on to say that she has “no fear about curses” or “superstitious stuff” when it comes to her marriage “because we are so intensely in love.” She added that Wahlberg also often sends her text messages with inspiring messages.

“This is what I got this morning: ‘The man, he loves you. You inspire him, you help him. He doesn't know how, but you make him better.’ Sometimes we'll do the third person for fun,” McCarthy explained.

“And then I wrote back. I said, ‘Oh, I love you so much. Thank you for the sweet words. I just adore you. We really won the lotto with each other.’ He said, ‘We did,’ and that's just this morning,” she added.

However, she said it’s not just the sweet messages they send each other that strengthens their bond, but the things they do for each other, too.

“Every Monday he sends me flowers, since the day we met,” McCarthy shared. “Every Monday I get flowers.”

The couple's traditions appear to be working for them. McCarthy and Wahlberg began dating in 2013 and tied the knot in August 2014. During Valentine’s Day in 2023, Wahlberg even paid tribute to their relationship in a heartfelt message on Instagram.

"To the love of my life. My wife. Mrs Wahlberg aka Lady, aka Jenny aka Jennifer Ann McCarthy — I love you," he wrote, and she responded, "You're my everything."

The Masked Singer season 12 premieres Sept. 25 on Fox, while the final season of Blue Bloods begins airing Oct. 18 on CBS.
