When it comes to switching up her hair, Jennifer Lopez (our beauty Lord and Saviour) is far from afraid to try new things – and her latest transformation has truly got us in awe. Already, this year alone, JLo's tresses have gone from channelling a 90s waitress (think Rachel in Friends) to rocking bold space buns and an 80s perm (she's quite literally time travelling via the medium of hair at this point and we're beyond here for it tbh).
Now, her stylist, the iconic Chris Appleton (who has also worked with the likes of Kim Kardashian-West and Dua Lipa) has revealed another Jennifer transformation – this time, into a unicorn Barbie. We're presuming this latest change is part of the incredible upcoming JLo Beauty launch campaign that the singer recently teased on her socials.
Posting a couple of pictures of Jenny from the Block on his Instagram, Chris revealed the pink, purple and silver-toned wig which is poker straight and features a centre parting. Seriously, how is it this woman can pull of literally every style under the sun? This unicorn Barbie lewk is also serving us some major space age princess vibes and we're loving it.
Chris also revealed another look that he and Jennifer teamed up for, featuring a gorgeously detailed spot of hair art atop a chic blonde bob (again, we refer you back to our every style under the sun comment!). Chris noted in the caption that he'd created this eye-catching technique by using a hair stencil: "Coming soon..... #hairart 💫 #hairstencil". Could hair stencils be part of JLO's beauty launch?!
Jennifer also posted her unicorn Barbie hair on her own Instagram Stories, along with a teaser for a new video accompanied by some audio from her November-released single, called 'In The Morning'.
She shared multiple stills from the new video, which appear to feature an array of looks, one of which sees her fully naked bar a pair of angel wings (naturally). JLO's teasers were also paired with the hashtag #JLOBEAUTY, sooo... we're thinking as well as dropping a new video for her latest single she's coinciding it with exciting beauty news.
