Just a day after sources shared that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner find it a little odd that their daughter, Violet Affleck, hung out with Jennifer Lopez's sister, Lynda, insiders say that Lopez wants to maintain a relationship with the Affleck children. According to People, Lopez is still in contact with Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

"Jennifer keeps in touch with the Affleck kids," an insider shared. "Her whole family loves them. She wants them to know that they can always reach out if they need anything at all."

The source continued, saying that Lopez is "doing well" and wants to stay focused on the future—her new movie, Unstoppable, is out in December. They also reminded fans that the divorce is still being finalized.

"Jennifer is doing well. She doesn't dwell on the past," they added. "She's so grateful for everything that she has. The divorce is still being worked out."

Affleck has been generous with his praise, telling critics that Lopez is "spectacular" in the film, which he produced alongside his pal Matt Damon.

"Jennifer is spectacular," Affleck told Entertainment Tonight. The outlet also asked him how Unstoppable compared to another movie he produced with Damon, Small Things Like These (out on November 8). "Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way it is similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists, and [director] Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome] and Bobby Cannavale, all of whom were really passionate about this film."
