When someone says "bodycon," an image of a Kardashian in a Hervé Leger bandage dress at a nightclub in the 2010s likely comes to mind. And while the body-skimming style eventually fell out of fashion, the polarizing silhouette is poised for its comeback more than a decade later — at least if Jennifer Lopez has anything to say about it.

On Saturday, the multi-hyphenate documented her latest OOTD on Instagram, and in the snaps, she modeled a new kind of bodycon dress. Wearing a nude design by Magda Butrym, J.Lo's clingy dress was not only sophisticated (thanks to its midi-length hemline, high neck, and long sleeves) but also modern with a semi-sheer silhouette evocative of the naked dresses of that have dominated the current decade. Lopez accessorized with a pair of transparent heels, and added some bling in the form of massive diamond stud earrings and a matching pinky ring.

Her brunette hair was worn down in bombshell waves with curtain fringe, while the remainder of her glam included a generous swirl of rose-colored blush and a swipe of nude lipgloss.

J.Lo might've left her slideshow caption-less, but her followers had plenty to say. "I wasn't prepared for this," wrote celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, while one fan commented: "The bawdy is hourglassing." A third added, "Endless beauty."

The black dress also boasted a built-in choker that was covered in crystals, as was part of the bodice and hem.
