Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Almost Had an Awkward Run-In at Their Shared Office
For reasons that remain somewhat confusing, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are still working out of the same office in Los Angeles. Which...seems slightly awkward considering they're in the middle of a divorce, there are reports that they aren't exactly talking, and things are getting tense in mediation.
But anyway! Apparently these two had a narrow miss at their office on Wednesday, when they were in the building just minutes apart from one another. According to Page Six, J.Lo was photographed entering the building looking gorgeous in a green skirt and top, while Ben was seen leaving the building shortly after. (Photo agency Backgrid notes that he departed 15 minutes later.)
This narrow miss comes amid a new report that Jennifer and Ben's lack of prenup is causing some issues. Since they were married for such a short time, the former couple only have to worry about dividing "community property" from the past two years, but they've both been hustling in that ~24 month span. Not only do these two need to sell/split the money from their $60 million mansion, there's income from movies, endorsements, and brands to consider.
People reports that Ben and J.Lo are in divorce mediation with high-profile celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, but apparently “there are some sticking points over financials” and things have “the potential to get ugly.” Here's to hoping they work things out sans (even more) drama.
