Jennifer Lopez Is Already in a 'Long Weekend Mood' Ahead of the Fourth of July

The actress is looking forward to hitting the dance floor this upcoming holiday weekend!

Jennifer Lopez is ready for the holiday weekend!

The 54-year-old actress is already celebrating the Fourth of July. On Wednesday, July 3, she posted a video on her Instagram Stories of a woman dancing and shaking her hips.

As the clip continued, a man started dancing beside her, showing off his moves, before the two grabbed one another’s hands and started dancing with each other. Lopez accompanied the video with Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”

She captioned the post, “Long weekend mood.”

Lopez added two more Instagram Stories, reposting her liquor brand Delola’s Instagram post wishing followers a “Happy July 4th weekend.” In the photo, the Marry Me actress is seen smiling poolside while holding one of her signature drinks. 

She also shared a recipe video pairing the Delola Light Margarita Cocktails with Chili Lime Shrimp Skewers.

Later Wednesday evening, Lopez posted an Instagram Story sitting next to one of her twins, Emme, riding in a car with the top down. At one point, Lopez affectionately leaned into her child. The caption for the video reads "bom dia meu povo" or "good morning, my people" in Portuguese. It's not clear where or when the video was taken.

Ahead of Lopez’s Wednesday Instagram Stories, she was spotted out and about in New York City. When she was photographed on Monday, July 1, she was seen wearing her wedding ring, a white crop top with the words "JLO BE MY MAMA" printed in bold, black letters, paired with Acne Studios Super Baggy Fit Jeans.

Meanwhile, her husband, Ben Affleck, was photographed at his office in L.A. on Wednesday. He sported a dark-colored suit, with his wedding band visible on his left hand and an iced coffee in his right.

A source close to Lopez told PEOPLE on June 28 that Affleck and the singer are "focused on their separate lives" this summer. The insider added that she and Affleck do not “have any summer plans together."

The couple tied the knot in 2022 after rekindling their early-2000s relationship the previous year, but in mid-May, PEOPLE first reported that the pair were living separately in L.A. as they dealt with tension in their marriage.

A source told PEOPLE on June 28, that Affleck was moving his belongings out of the home he and Lopez shared.

“Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now," another insider said. "He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”

Additionally, a source told PEOPLE the couple put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market in June, which they have shared since June 2023.
