Jenna Dewan Tricks Fiancé Steve Kazee into Thinking She Chopped Her Hair: See His Shocked Reaction

Jenna Dewan doesn’t play around in the glam chair, unless she’s trying to fool her fiancé, Steve Kazee, with a style prank.

The Rookie star, 43, shared a recent joke she pulled on the Shameless actor, 48.

In a video posted on Instagram April 17, Dewan sits in a chair while she’s in full glam mode.

While she’s getting a manicure, her hairstylist, Ricky Mota, starts working on her strands. She’s fully aware that the pro plans on fake snipping her long hair into a bob, but Kazee, who sits behind her not at all in on the joke, is shocked when he sees that half of his wife’s hair is gone.

“Do you like it?” Dewan asks. The camera pans to Kazee’s reaction, which is that of pure shock. “Wait, are you f- - -king with me right now?”

Dewan laughs and admits that she had Mota cut a hairpiece, not her actual tresses. ”This is the first time in the history of our relationship that I got you,” she says.

“The faux bob got him,” she captioned the video.

The couple shared news of their engagement in February 2020 and "started planning a wedding for later this year," a source previously told PEOPLE.

Dewan is also preparing for life as a mom of three. In January, she shared that she is expecting her second child with Kazee, baring her bump in an Instagram announcement video. Since then, she has rocked everything from a cutout gown to a bodycon dress during her pregnancy.

She also shares son Callum, 4, with Kazee and is a parent to daughter Everly, 10, with ex-husband Channing Tatum. Dewan is currently in ongoing divorce settlement negotiations with the Magic Mike star. She filed for divorce in October 2018.
