Jellyfish Seen in Flooded Galveston Island Yard After Hurricane Nicholas

A jellyfish was spotted swimming in a flooded yard in Galveston Island, Texas, on Tuesday, September 14, after Hurricane Nicholas made landfall on the Gulf Coast.

Brad Thompson posted footage to TikTok showing the translucent creature floating in the floodwaters in front of his home.

“What are you doing up here?” Thompson says in the video.
