Jelly Roll Brings Daughter Bailee Ann, 15, Out at Stagecoach for a 'Happy Birthday' Sing-Along Surprise
The musician led the crowd in a "Happy Birthday" sing-along, just days before his daughter's 16th birthday
Jelly Roll has surely earned some "cool dad points" after this weekend.
On Friday, April 26, the 39-year-old country star brought his daughter Bailee Ann DeFord, 15, on stage during his Stagecoach performance — where he led the crowd in a sing-along in her honor.
"In, like, 10 days, she will be 16 years old ... But hey, I figured it would be a really cool dad way to embarrass her if I can do the old 'Happy birthday to you,'" Jelly Roll said, as the crowd continued the song for him.
After the birthday wishes, which took place on stage alongside Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie XO, the singer thanked the crowd for changing their lives and helping to "break generational curses," according to a fan-shot video from the event.
The Grammy nominee also told the Indio, California, crowd, per a TikTok clip, that while his birthday surprise “might seem a little more corny," he "had to get cool dad points.”
“I took my daughter out of school today and I flew her to California for this show," he added. "Don’t tell her teacher.”

During the festival, Jelly Roll also took his eldest child to hang out with Guy Fieri during a cooking demonstration at Guy Fieri's Smokehouse.
The country star is dad to both Bailee Ann and 7-year-old Noah Buddy DeFord, whom he welcomed in 2016.
While the musician and Bunnie XO, who eloped in 2016, rarely post about Bailee and Noah on social media, Jelly Roll has still been open about his love for his children.
Speaking about Bailee after his big wins at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, Jelly Roll told Entertainment Tonight, "She knows the story. She knows how real it is. I’m just proud of her."
"I love you, Bailee Ann, so much. I thought about it the moment I walked off stage. You’ve changed my life in so many ways," he added. "But it’s just unreal. This is bigger than just a single award for us. We came from nothing.”
