Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are officially divorced.

Per documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia has agreed to dissolve the marriage of the former The Real co-host, 45, and the “Put On” rapper (né Jay Jenkins), 46. To keep details of their divorce settlement private — including child support/custody, spousal support and property splits — the parents of 2-year-old daughter Monaco have agreed to file their divorce under seal.

Reps for Jeezy and Mai did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

TMZ was first to report the news.

News of the former couple’s finalized divorce comes nine months after Jeezy filed in September following two-and-a-half years of marriage. According to his filing previously obtained by PEOPLE, the two were “living in a bona fide state of separation” at the time, and their marriage was "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation." The document also noted that the rapper was seeking joint legal custody of the former pair's daughter.

A month after the news broke, Jeezy released a statement addressing his divorce from Mai that read, “The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart.”

The Grammy-nominated rap artist added, “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”

A week prior, Mai also broke her silence on the divorce filing with an Instagram post that featured the words, “Sometimes, you need to take a break and disconnect, to heal,” written in a notebook.

Details of the divorce became public in the months that followed, with Mai alleging that her former spouse was unfaithful during their marriage after he asked a judge to set legal and physical custody rights of their daughter, per documents filed in Fulton County Georgia, and obtained by PEOPLE.

Mai’s claim complicated divorce proceedings and seemingly alleged that Jeezy violated the terms of the divorce pair’s prenuptial agreement, as she noted in her filing, “In the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communication, including but not limited to, texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party as specified in said Prenuptial Agreement.”

A rep for Jeezy previously denied the accusations to PEOPLE, saying, “Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins behalf are 100% false and he has no further statements at this time.”

In April, Mai spoke of new accusations against Jeezy in another court filing that alleged several incidents of domestic abuse and child neglect during their relationship. She claimed that the rapper had “explosive outbursts, excessive drinking and domestic violence.”

The filing cited an alleged January 2022 incident where Mai claimed Jeezy berated her in a car after asking the driver to step out. “He hurled insults such as ‘You w---!’ and ‘I can't wait to divorce you when we get back,’” the court documents alleged. Mai also claimed she was held “against her will” and the rapper struck her with “a closed fist across her cheekbone and eye, causing a subconjunctival hemorrhage.”

Court documents noted that the pair sought therapy in regard to the alleged domestic violence incident. However, the filing also referenced other alleged violent incidents that occurred three months later at Ritz Carlton in San Francisco, one in December 2022 that happened during UNCF 39th Atlanta Mayor's Masked Ball and a fourth that involved Jeezy allegedly crashing “a golf cart which resulted in injuries to himself” and Mai.

Additionally, Mai claimed she was worried for the former pair’s daughter’s safety, per an alleged October 2023 incident in which the TV personality found the toddler with her then-husband’s Louis Vuitton bag with his AK-47 rifle inside at their home

Shortly after the filing surfaced, Jeezy publicly denied Mai’s accusations in an Instagram statement that read, “The allegations are not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous.”

“It's disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody,” the “Leave You Alone” artist added. “Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels."
