Jason and Travis Kelce Chime in on Cookie Cakes with a Shirtless Jason: 'Pretty Spot On'
Eileen’s Colossal Cookies in Liberty, Missouri re-created Jason’s viral moment in cookie cake form — complete with chest hair made of chocolate shavings
Jason Kelce’s hilarious antics at the Chiefs game on Sunday night have landed him a spot in cookie history.
On Sunday, the NFL center, 36, let out a scream and pulled his shirt off in the stands of Highmark Stadium while cheering on his brother Travis Kelce. The moment inspired Eileen’s Colossal Cookies in Liberty, Missouri, to re-create Jason’s shirtless body in cookie cake form.
On a new episode of Travis and Jason’s podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, presented by Wave Sports & Entertainment, the brothers discussed the confection — and it’s uncanny resemblance to the dad of three.
“Apparently your antics at the game were so popular with Chiefs fans that there’s already a bakery in Missouri making ‘Shirtless Jason’ cookie cakes, and it’s pretty damn good,” said Travis, 34.
Initially, Jason needed clarification on what exactly the dessert was. “What’s a cookie cake?” he asked. Travis responded, “I think it’s just a cookie the size of a cake.”
The pair gave rave reviews. “It’s good artistry,” Jason said, while Travis added, “It’s pretty spot on.”
Jason’s younger brother got into a hilarious laughing fit when he started discussing the chest hair dotted across the center of the cookie cake. The local bakery confirmed with PEOPLE that the dark pieces were made of chocolate shavings.
Jason continued to poke fun at the edible caricature of himself: “You know how Disney has like their drawings that they just repurpose for other movies but it’s essentially the same drawing? This bakery probably already had the Bert Kreischer template and then they just put my face on it,” he laughed while pointing to the comedian.
During the episode, the brothers discussed more of Jason’s viral moments during the game, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills.
"I wanted to take everything off and be out there with the fans," the Philadelphia Eagles player said about his decision to strip his shirt off and jump into the stands.
He had been wanting to "go outside" and "take my shirt off and be out there," Jason admitted. "I feel like taking your shirt off is a Buffalo Bills thing. I wanted to take everything off and be out there with the fans."
As for what kind of impression it made on Travis' girlfriend Taylor Swift, who joined Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce in Travis' suite for the game? Travis said, "Tay said she absolutely loved you."
"Your best first impression is the worst impression ever," he teased, before comparing the shirtless scene to a Will Ferrell scene in Old School where the actor runs around screaming, "'We're gonna go streaking!'"
The shirtless act had been discussed between Jason and Kylie, 31, before the game took place, though. "I'm not going to lie, I gave Kylie a heads-up. The moment we get into the suite, I said, 'I'm taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.' And she said, 'Jason don't you dare.' "
"Once a Kelce man's determined there's no f---ing stopping him," Travis agreed.
