With COVID-19 putting a halt to the traditional red carpet, the 43-year-old actress decided to take a trip down memory lane and try on the plunging red Versace gown she originally wore to the 68th Golden Globes in 2011.
The "Mad Men" star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing the jaw-dropping gown that sent photographers into a frenzy a decade ago.
"10 years later and it still (sorta) fits," the star captioned her most recent post which included a throwback photo from 2011.
Jones shared more photos to her Instagram stories from her at-home photoshoot wearing minimal makeup with her ice blonde hair in a tousled bob.
"Squeezed into this beauty today," Jones wrote. "10 years ago Versace made my dream dress for the Golden Globe Awards."
Jones, who has since appeared in the Netflix series The Politician and Spinning Out, also shared a playful photo of herself in the fiery red gown with fringed skirt holding a pink sprinkled donut.
"Part of the problem," she joked. "Also I had a child."
The post delighted the star's more than 1.1 million Instagram followers who praised the star for the throwback to her iconic red carpet moment and seemingly ageless appearance.
"I just let out a 'Jesus' louder than a preacher on Sunday," one follower wrote.
"Dude, you do not age — are you part vampire?" another asked.
"You haven't changed a bit,"a fan added. "10 years later and still stunning."
Despite Jones' insistence that the dress no longer fit, followers assured the star that she still looked "slamming," "breathtaking" and "gorgeous."
"I literally have dreams about this dress," a follower told Jones. "You look stunning."
"I remember that dress and how much Joan Rivers loved you in it!" another said.
In 2011 Jones dominated best-dressed lists when she arrived at the Golden Globes red carpet oozing old Hollywood glamour with her perfectly coiffed hair and bold red lip.
Later that year, Jones relived her fashion moment in an interview with Allure magazine.
"I got to keep that dress. Someday I'll have a daughter," Jones said of hopefully gifting the memorable gown. "Ryan Seacrest said he was having a hard time looking at my face, and I was like, 'That's the idea. They're out there for a reason.' Joan Rivers said I whored up the carpet. I say, thank you very much."
After Jones's throwback went viral, her former "Mad Men" co-star Kiernan Shipka decided to also sport her look from the 2011 awards ceremony - when she was just 11.
The "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" star shared photos of herself and Jones from 2011, one of Jones's new photos, and a new snap of herself wearing her velvet collared dress in her backyard.
"Hey January Jones, I hear we're putting on our Golden Globes looks from 10 years ago," Shipka wrote.
"Do you still fit in the dress," Jones wrote before adding, "Omg I commented before I scrolled. Yaaaasss! I believe this is called upcycling now [sic]."
