January Jones Gets Fresh Haircut to Celebrate 46th Birthday: 'Feel Cute'

The 'Mad Men' alum is celebrating her birthday with a new style

January Jones is starting 46 with a new hairdo!

The actress shared an Instagram Story on Friday showing off her new haircut, a platinum blonde bob to celebrate her 46th birthday.

As she smiled for the camera, the Mad Men alum wore a pale yellow sweater with a diamond tennis necklace layered with a silver pendant chain, which she paired with a couple of silver hoop earrings.

She captioned the Story by thanking celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager, who has worked with the star to reinvent her look many times before.

“@bridgetbragerhairalways knows what I need for my bday, a fresh cut to make me feel cute ❤️ u,” wrote Jones.

Along with sharing her chic new hairdo, the actress provided a peek at her birthday celebrations. She added an Instagram Story that documented her in a “rage room” where she was dressed in navy coveralls and a protective helmet and mask. During the video, the Emmy nominee filmed herself smashing through a planter pot and glass bowl with a steel bat.

Ahead of her birthday chop, the actress switched from her shoulder-length bob into a shaggy pixie cut in May and then debuted her platinum icy blonde hair in July.

Along with showing off her icy look over the summer, Jones also confessed that she was beginning to take fashion inspiration from an unexpected source.

“[I] never expected my midlife crisis to say 'take all fashion cues from teenage boys,’ " joked the Golden Globe nominee.

In the August Instagram post, Jones modeled an oversized navy-and-white ringer T-shirt layered over what appears to be a black lace slip dress. She wears 2000s-style sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, and black lace-up boots.

She also shared the pictures of her kneeling on the grass on her Instagram Story, writing, “My son [Xander] makes this pose in pics now so I did it to mock him and the jokes on me cause he’s right, it def makes you look cooler,” referring to her 12-year-old child.
