Jana Kramer Says Her 8-Year-Old Daughter Jolie Asked Her If It's 'OK' She Isn't a Taylor Swift Fan
The country singer's daughter does not consider herself a Swiftie
Jana Kramer's daughter is no Swiftie.
On the Monday, April 29th episode of her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, the mom of three shared that her daughter Jolie Rae, 8, recently asked her if it was all right if she didn't like Taylor Swift, 34.
"She was at a birthday party, and she's like, 'Mom, is it OK that I don't like Taylor Swift?' And I was like, 'This is so crazy because we've never had this conversation,'" Kramer recalled.
"I go, 'Honey, 1000%, you can like whoever you want.' I was like, 'It's just because she's super famous, you know, and everyone loves her does not mean that you have to love her too,' " she continued.

"Just [like] the Beatles. It's like, you don't have to like that," she continued. "And sometimes, I didn't like the Beatles because everyone loved the Beatles. So I've always kinda go opposite."
The singer went on to say that although she "didn't love the new album," she likes some of Swift's songs. "I think she's an insane entertainer," Kramer said. "I still respect her as an artist."
Kramer is mom to daughter Jolie and son Jace, 5, whom she shares with ex Mike Caussin. She also shares son Roman, 5 months, with fiancé Allan Russell.
In January, Kramer shared a sweet tribute in honor of Jolie's 8th birthday.
The actress and singer shared an Instagram Reel of Jolie growing up throughout the years, beginning from an ultrasound appointment during Kramer's pregnancy with her. From learning to walk to starting school and becoming a big sister, the video is packed with special moments between mom and daughter.
"✨8✨. Happy birthday to my sweet, kind, loving little girl. I Love you to the moon and back," she wrote. "Even though I wish I could stop the clock at times, watching you grow up has been my greatest joy."
