The film centers on a group of co-workers on a routine corporate team-building trip which transforms into a nightmare when they unwittingly become the prey of a rogue AI-driven drone. Above is a first-look image.

Pic is being produced by Alex Lane and Oleg Shardin for Puma In A Tank, in unison with Georgia Witkin for GM4U Productions.

Webber, also known for Hannibal Rising and Emperor, also co-produces the film which is written by Barry Hutchison (SuperMansion) and Alexander Gordon Smith (The Box), who are also executive-producing via Thunder Mouse Productions. Producer Lane also contributed to the script.

Sandy Climan (The Aviator) and Michael Tadross (I Am Legend) are serving as executive producers. Joachim Laqueur, Igor Shardin, Vasiliy Lantsov and Carolin Springborn are also executive-producing.

Alex Heffes (State of Play) is composing. Joseph Hodges (24) is overseeing the production design. Nancy Bishop (Snowpiercer) was aboard for casting. Alek Conic is co-producing on behalf of the Clockwork Film team, who are providing local production services in Serbia. The Republic of Serbia is financially supporting the production.

Webber said: “After a month of madness in the wilds of a distant Serbian forest with as fine a bunch of actors as one could hope to meet, our shoot has come to an end. The largely local crew excelled themselves helping us bring this story to the screen. It was a memorable and exhilarating journey as we pitted man against machine in our tale of technology run rampant.’

Myriad Pictures’ Kirk D’Amico added: “We were impressed with the script written by Barry Hutchinson and Alexander Gordon Smith, and with Peter Webber’s vision for this timely action thriller about an AI machine which goes amuck during a corporate retreat. It is a cautionary tale told in a suspenseful and action-packed way.”
