James Jordan had his head shaved live on Loose Women today by wife Ola Jordan to raise money for charity. The professional cancer grew his hair out due to a “superstition” about his late father.
James’ father Allan died last month as a result of brain cancer and the reality star admitted that he was scared to cut his hair while Allan was still alive.
The former Strictly star shared his plans to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, as his late father was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour last year after suffering from a series of strokes.
Ola got to work on the long lockdown locks during the break on Loose Women, with presenter Kaye Adams, praising his new look when they returned:
“A transformed man!” said Adams, who complimented Ola’s work, even suggesting that she could embark on a new career in hairdressing.

Although his one-year old daughter Ella, didn’t appear too certain, according to James: “She’s done a runner!”
“I don’t know if that is good or not, she might not recognise me.”
“She is a bit confused.”

James lost his father last month, announcing the news on his Instagram page. He wrote: “My dad became an angel at 8.05am. I will forever miss him. My dad will always be my HERO. RIP Daddy."
He has set up a JustGiving page in the hopes of raising £10,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity.
He wrote:
“I want to do all I can to stop other families going through the pain, distress and nightmare that Dad, my family and I went through with Dad’s diagnosis, treatment and passing. To raise vital funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, I’m going to be shaving off all of my hair on Tuesday 13th April.”
“The date is also my birthday and it will certainly be a very different one this year, without Dad. If you can please donate to my fundraiser.”
The total raised currently stands at £12,714, with that the target being increased to £15,000 due to the overwhelming support.
