James Bond Reality TV Series ‘007’s Road to a Million’ Already Casting Second Season (EXCLUSIVE)

The first season of James Bond reality TV series “007’s Road to a Million” has yet to drop, but casting is already underway for Season 2.

Producers are looking for “more dynamic duos to jet set across the globe using their wits and general knowledge to answer questions hidden around the world,” according to a casting notice, which says that filming is “due to take place throughout 2024.”

“You don’t have to be a Bond fan to apply but we are looking for teams of two that are very close in their relationship and who would enjoy  an adventure,” it adds.

Reps for Amazon declined to comment on the second season.

The Bond-inspired series, which will debut later this year on Amazon’s Prime Video platform, sees “Succession” star Brian Cox control the fate of the show’s contestants as they go on a Bond-style race around the world in the hopes of winning a £1 million ($1.2 million) cash prize. Among the 007-inspired destinations they visit are the Scottish Highlands, Venice and Jamaica.

“007’s Road to a Million” is a bold new move for Eon Productions who own the rights to Bond and have never before permitted the IP to be used in unscripted TV. Variety was first break the news about the production last spring, which is a collaboration between Eon, Amazon Studios, 72 Films and MGM Alternative.

“People have always come to us about doing a TV show, [saying,] ‘Oh, you should do a Bond challenge,’” Eon boss Barbara Broccoli told Variety last year. “But we always stayed away from it because we didn’t want to put people in danger and have them do dangerous things, because it’s not for members of the public — it’s for trained professionals.”
