10 Sep – Singer-actor Kim Jae-joong (also known as Jaejoong) will no longer be a part of Channel A's upcoming series, "Miss Mom Jane".
As reported on Star News, the singer's agency C-Jes Entertainment shared the bad news, saying that the Jaejoong has decided to withdraw from the project due to scheduling conflict.
Jaejoong was originally cast to play the role of Han Ji-hoon, an heir of a hotel empire.
It was previously reported that actress Seo Eun-soo is in talks to star as the titular character.
"Miss Mom Jane" is a Korean remake of the hit American TV series, "Jane the Virgin", which itself is an adaptation of the hit 2002 Venezuelan telenovela, "Juana La Virgen".
