Jacqueline Wong finally returns to Hong Kong

16 Dec – After eight months of hiatus, TVB actress Jacqueline Wong has finally returned to Hong Kong.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was approached by the media as she arrived at the airport from the United States on 14 December, started to tear up as she expressed her happiness about finally returning home.

"I really want to use this opportunity to thank some people, friends, colleagues, as well as my family. It has been hard on them," she said.

Jacqueline also expressed her gratitude to her fans and netizens who sent messages to express their support for her, adding that their encouragement really gave her the energy to face the public.

The actress also admitted that she had tried very hard to live her life for the past eight months despite the many speculations about her from the outside world.

"I made a mistake and I am trying very hard to live with it, to learn from it. But at the same time, I do feel I need to continue walking forward and move on," she said.

As for her previous scandal, the "Finding the Voice" actress said that she would no longer give any response about it, stressing that her return to Hong Kong was primarily to reunite with her family after so many months.

"I hope everybody can give us some space. Thank you all for your support all this time," she said.

As for reports that she has changed her name and started a career in real-estate, the actress stated that there is no truth to the rumours at all.

Jacqueline made headlines back in April this year after she was caught on taxi cam kissing and behaving intimately with married singer Andy Hui in the backseat of a cab.
