Jackie Miller James' Family Shares Update on Influencer’s Recovery 7 Months After Aneurysm Rupture
The California-based influencer was nine months pregnant when she collapsed at her home in May after suffering from a ruptured aneurysm

Influencer Jackie Miller JamesSeven months after suffering a ruptured aneurysm while nine months pregnant and spending one month in a medically induced coma, influencer Jackie Miller James is updating her followers on her recovery.
On Thursday, the California-based influencer, 35, shared her first update since July on Instagram, as she admitted, “This year has taken a lot from us but it’s also given us so many blessings.”
“Jackie is currently on the road to recovery with her baby and family by her side,” the statement posted to her account read. “While the rehabilitation will be long, it’s been the motivation of being a new mother and the support of so many of you that has driven her to continue.”
The statement also revealed the name of her daughter, her first with husband Miller Austin James, Knoxly Rose James. She called the infant — who was born via emergency C-section at the same time that brain surgery was performed on Jackie for the “severe brain bleeding and injury” caused by the ruptured aneurysm — “her adorable little blessing” and noted that she hopes to “post more in the future."
“If it wasn’t for family, friends and this community, we don’t know where we would be right now,” the statement, which was signed “Jackie & Family,” concluded.

While she had “an incredibly long road to recovery ahead of her,” the update acknowledged that Jackie was “performing above expectations at this stage of her recovery” as her family continued to ask for “prayers, love and support.”
She had been found unconscious after collapsing in her California home by her husband, and was rushed to the emergency room, where her daughter was born and brain surgery was performed.
Her daughter, Knoxly, spent 12 days in the NICU before going home, while Jackie underwent five brain procedures during her time in the coma, according to a GoFundMe page set up by her sisters.
Over $337,000 has been raised to support Jackie, her husband and their family as the influencer’s recovery continues, with top donations coming from The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar and Pretty Little Liars alum Shay Mitchell.

In the comments of Jackie’s Instagram update on Thursday, several of her famous followers shared their love for her, with Shay Mitchell commenting “❤️❤️❤️” and influencer Marianna Hewitt writing, “We love and miss you so much ❤️.”
