Jack Whitehall makes awkward gaffe during Harry Styles interview at the Brits
This year's Brit Awards were a pretty dull affair overall, but were worth watching simply for host Jack Whitehall trying to make entertaining banter with famous musicians who either could not hear him or weren't that bothered.
At one point, Jack tried to initiate some conversation with Harry Styles, and ended up landing his foot in it in a way that was much more funny than if things had gone to plan.
Sat next to Harry, Jack asked if a woman seated by him was his date, to which the 'Adore You' singer responded: "That's my sister."

A clearly flummoxed Jack started rambling about keeping it in the family and how his own mum was in the audience as well, which made Harry look even more awkward.
Eventually, Jack reached for Harry's drink and took a sip, before realising that it was a neat tequila. Then, Lizzo spun round and proceeded to down the entire drink, which caused Jack, Harry and the entire room to cheer.
Elsewhere in the evening, Billie Eilish fluffed up her acceptance speech by mixing up London and Lizzo, but the 'Good As Hell' hitmaker took it in her stride and used the opportunity to say how much she loved Billie.

The moral of the story is, if you want to salvage awkward award ceremony moments, get Lizzo involved.
During ITV's live broadcast, it censored Lewis Capaldi as he accepted one of his two awards, but YouTube viewers heard the entire thing.
