Jack Tan nominated Best Supporting Actor at 2024 Asian Film Awards

15 Jan– Malaysia's Jack Tan has been nominated at the upcoming 2024 Asian Film Awards.

The actor, who stars in "Abang Adik" alongside Taiwanese actor Wu Kang-ren, received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Angelica Lee-produced film.

Jack will be facing tough competition from Korean actors Park Hoon ("12.12: The Day") and Park Jung-min ("Smugglers"), Japanese star Nakamura Shido ("Kubi"), and "Times Still Turns the Pages" actor Sean Wong.

Meanwhile, his co-star Wu Kang-ren has been nominated in the Best Actor category.

It is noted that Jack was previously nominated in the Best Supporting Category at the Golden Horse Awards, though lost to actor Akio Chen.

The result will be announced on 10 March.
