J.Lo Still "Smitten" With Ben Affleck But Chances of Reconciliation Are "Slimmer by the Day"
Another day, another update on Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's somewhat confusing relationship status. The couple–who have been dealing with divorce speculation for months at this point–are currently spending time apart, and a source tells Page Six that J.Lo wants a summer of "health, happiness and joy" for her family.
“Nothing can break her spirit,” the source says. “She wants to have a summer full of fun and laughter.”
The insider also says that J.Lo remains "smitten" with Ben, while multiple sources tell Page Six that she still views him as the love of her life. That said, the outlet reports that chances of reconciliation seem "slimmer by the day."
Back in June, a source told People that Ben and J.Lo were "focused on their separate lives" and “don’t have any summer plans together" amid tension in their marriage. “Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental," the insider said. "He’s been there for about two months now. He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
Oh, and another source told People that Ben and Jen are “still friendly and see each other every few days" (when they're both in Los Angeles, obviously), so...that seems positive
Again, neither Ben nor J.Lo have commented on the status of their relationship at this point (should be noted that, for the most part, they're still wearing their rings), but stay tuned.
