Iza Calzado and boyfriend are engaged
10 Oct - Iza Calzado and her long-time boyfriend Ben Wintle are finally engaged.
As reported on PEP, the news was confirmed by Calzado's good friend, Rajo Laurel, who shared a photo of Wintle on his knees as he formally asked the actress to marry him.
He wrote, "Iza said yes! Congratulations to my friends, [Iza Calzado] and [Ben Wintle] on their engagement! What a blessing to witness this special moment in your lives. So happy for both of you!"
In another video captured by Calzado's manager Noel Ferrer, the British businessman can be seen taking out the ring, before Calzado quipped, "Can we check first?"
She then took the ring, gave it a bite, and said, "It looks real. It's real!"
As he popped the question, Calzado can be heard saying, "What do I say? Yes!", and later added, "Oh no, wait, I have a condition. As long as you shower every night before going to bed!"
The couple first met in 2011, after Calzado just broke up with boyfriend Atticus King.
