ROME (Reuters) - Italian Economy Minister Roberto Gualtieri said on Wednesday he had no doubt the government would last, despite frequent tensions among the ruling coalition parties.

"I am confident the government will carry on," Gualtieri said in an interview with private television station La7.

"It would be paradoxical for the government to fall during the (coronavirus) pandemic," the minister added.
