Italy shipwreck survivors bid farewell to victims' coffins

STORY: The heartbroken migrants were helped approach the coffins by members of the Italian Red Cross, as Crotone residents and members of the local Muslim community lined up to pay their respects and pray.

Italian authorities also prayed for victims of the deadly shipwreck that killed at least 65 people.

Small white caskets were chosen for the children, and brown wooden ones for the adults who lost their lives.

All had flowers on top, and some had engraved name tags. A toy police rescue vehicle had been placed on one of the children's coffins.
