Italy: ‘Io Apro’ protesters demand businesses reopen in Rome

More than 500 protesters gathered for "Io apro" demonstration in Rome on Monday, April 12. These people were demanding the reopening of commercial activities, such as shops and restaurants. The tension between demonstrators and police was high. Firecrackers and bottles were being thrown at the site. Also, there were some sit-in protesters blocking the road and causing traffic.
