'Intense' Dust Storm Brings Hazardous Driving Conditions to Las Vegas

High winds blew dust across Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, February 13, and caused power outages across the region.

Footage shared by Twitter user @JustinLDubbs shows howling winds nearly eliminating visibility on roads. “It’s getting REALLY bad in Las Vegas right now!” he tweeted. “Everyone is pulling over on the side of the roads, you can’t see 10 feet in front of you.”

The National Weather Service forecast northwestern winds to continue as a wind advisory remained in effect. Motorists were urged to exercise caution and to be aware of blowing dust and debris. Credit: @JustinLDubbs via Storyful
