From insurgency to city beat: Taliban police patrols Kabul

Taliban fighters who had spent years waging an insurgency are now adjusting to the relatively ordinary role of a policeman in Kabul, conducting patrols and directing traffic in the Afghanistan's capital. The city's old police force was disbanded when the Taliban swept back into power on August 15, leaving the rebel fighters to build a new police force from scratch.
