Inside Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares' Private but 'Very Serious' Relationship
Zac Efron fell in love in Australia--and now his relationship may be part of what leads him to move there. People reports that Efron, 33, and his new girlfriend Vanessa Valladares, 25, are now sharing a home in Byron Bay. Things have really escalated, a source said.
"Zac and Vanessa are very happy," the source started. "They celebrated Zac's birthday with friends before the weekend. Their relationship is very serious. Vanessa lives with Zac in Byron Bay."
A source previously told People that Valladares and Efron met in June. "Zac met Ness earlier in the summer," the source said. "They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together. You can tell that they are having fun. She spends a lot of time at this house." Valladares worked at the Byron Bay General Store & Cafe but has also done some modeling.
People was told last month that Efron is house hunting in Byron Bay. "It really seems he plans on staying in Australia permanently," the source said.
Valladares did not appear to share any public birthday tribute to Efron on her Instagram (she hasn't posted anything in three weeks), nor do they follow each other on the platform. The two were photographed this weekend at Efron's birthday celebration.
Australian radio personality Kyle Sandilands was among the guests at the party, and he did gab a bit about Valladares and Efron. Apparently Valladares planned the surprise party for Efron, Sandilands shared, via Daily Mail: "Vanessa invited me. You couldn't get a lovelier, sweeter girl. She knew everything, and she put everything together. She's a sweetheart."
Efron is truly happy Down Under with her, he added: "He absolutely loves Australia. "He's in love with this girl, Vanessa. They're a beautiful couple. They do everything together. They're just sweet."
