‘Inside Out 2’ Threepeats as Title Consumers Are Most Excited About

What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.

ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.

Disney/Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” has done it again. For the third week in a row “Inside Out 2” is No. 1 and has become the first film of 2024 to reach $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” rises back into the No. 2 position as its July 26 release draws closer. “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is back in the Top 3 while “House of the Dragon” comes in at No. 4, and the “2024 Paris Summer Olympics Games” sticks the landing to round out the Top 5.

As we head into the Fourth of July weekend, “Despicable Me 4” moves up to No. 6 just ahead of its July 3 debut.  With nearly a year until its release, “Grand Theft Auto VI” rejoins the list at No. 8 while Netflix’s “Bridgerton” comes in at No. 9. And “IF,” now available to rent and purchase, rounds out the Top 10.
