Injuries Reported in Clashes at Al-Aqsa Mosque

At least 31 people were injured in clashes at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque on April 22, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported.

At least 14 of those injured were transferred to hospital for treatment, the society said.

One member of the police was hit in the face by a rock and required treatment, Israeli media reported.

Friday marked the beginning of the last 10 days of Ramadan, from which only Muslim visitors are allowed access the Temple Mount.
