Indonesian singer Afgan to serenade Malaysian fans again, this time with the MPO

KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 — Indonesian singer-songwriter Afgan will be returning to Kuala Lumpur this December to serenade fans again.

This time, the Bawalah Cintaku singer will be performing with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO).

The Afgan Live in Concert with Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will take place this December 2 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s (KLCC) Plenary Hall.

The announcement was made via the singer’s social media this morning

Afgan who has performed in Malaysia multiple times before is grateful for the support from local fans according to New Straits Times.

“Malaysia has been like a second home base for my musical career. Almost all my songs have been received well by fans here.

“Each time I have performed here in the past, fans never failed to show their tremendous support for me, which is really an honour for me,” Afgan said.

He added that he is thrilled to be performing alongside MPO for the first time.

Afgan’s last show here was during the Afgan Evolution Live in Kuala Lumpur which took place at the KLCC’s Plenary Hall in December last year.

Tickets for the Afgan Live in Concert with Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will go on sale today with ticketing price starting from RM258 to RM1488.
