Individuals Stranded in Storm Iota Floodwaters Hoisted to Safety in Honduras

Rescue operations continued in Choloma, a municipality in Cortés, Honduras, on November 19, in the wake of Storm Iota.

At least 38 people were killed in Central America by the storm, according to local reports.

The National Hurricane Center’s advisory at 9.40 am on Wednesday warned of a continued heavy rain threat over Central America.
