Indian officials rescue lamb and poisonous snake from same well

Officials in Tamil Nadu, southern India, rescued a distressed lamb and a poisonous snake from the same well on April 28. Lakshmanan, a farmer in Manapparai, called rescue officials after he spotted a Russel viper at the bottom of the well his lamb fell into. One of the rescue team was lowered down into the watery pit where he managed to grab the lamb and the snake. The lamb was later handed over to its owner and the snake was released into a forest.
