Iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Set Up in New York City

The iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was set up in New York City on November 14.

Footage uploaded by @kcdeitch shows the tree being hoisted into place. “Perfect timing!” wrote @kcdeitch. “Putting up the tree at Rockefeller Center.”

This year’s tree had attracted some criticism for appearing “scraggly,” according to the Washington Post, with comparisons drawn to the Christmas tree in “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

Rockefeller Center wrote a rebuke, tweeting: “Wow, you all must look great right after a two-day drive, huh? Just wait until I get my lights on! See you on December 2!” Credit: @kcdeitch via Storyful
