KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 — Popular 1970s Hong Kong band The Wynners will be performing in Malaysia for the last time at Axiata Arena on November 4.

The Farewell with Love world tour will mark the end of the band’s 50-year journey in paving the way for Cantopop music.

Fans attending the 8pm show can expect an unforgettable emotional farewell performance with their greatest hits.

Their tour began at Hong Kong Coliseum in early August with seven sold-out shows, making them the band who performed the most at the iconic stadium.

General sale tickets will go live on September 13 from 2pm, with prices from RM288 to RM958 for a VIP ticket.

Lucky fans who purchase their concert tickets between September 13 and 20 may get the chance to have a group photo with The Wynners.

Tickets will be available here.

The Wynners was formed in Hong Kong in 1973, creating chart-topping pop rock hits like Sha La-La-La-La and L-O-V-E Love.

The band is comprised of members Alan Tam, Kenny Bee, Bennett Pang, Danny Yip and Anthony Chan, who are all in their 70s today.

After the 1980s, the band would reunite on stage every five years for successful concert tours.

The Wynners last performed in Malaysia in February 2020.
