A Wisconsin woman captured the sights and sounds of ice sheets crunching against the shores of Lake Superior on Wednesday morning, April 27.
Footage taken by @clkoval shows “ice stacking” on Lake Superior’s shore in Ashland, Wisconsin, on Wednesday morning, she said.
Ice stacking occurs when wind and cold temperatures cause broken sheets of ice slide over one another, stacking along lake shorelines. Near-freezing temperatures in the Lake Superior region partially froze the water’s edge. Credit: @clkoval via Storyful
