Ice Stacking Creates 'Cool Sounds' Along Shore of Lake Superior
The “cool sounds” of ice stacking on the shores of Lake Superior were captured in footage shared to YouTube on April 27.
Photographer Cheryl Koval, who lives in Ashland, Wisconsin, on the shore of the Great Lake, captured the footage.
Koval’s caption comments that “the ice looks like glass in the sunlight” as the creaking, cracking sound is made.
She regularly posts videos showcasing seasonal variations and wildlife in the region. Credit: Cheryl Koval via Storyful
