The Hunting Party Premiere Date Moved Up at NBC
Melissa Roxburgh will be tracking down criminals a little earlier on NBC’s The Hunting Party.
NBC has moved up the premiere date of the upcoming crime drama, TVLine has learned: It’ll now debut this Sunday, Jan. 19 at 7/6c on NBC, following the NFL divisional playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the winner of tonight’s Vikings-Rams game. An encore episode will air Monday, Feb. 3 at 10 pm, the show’s original premiere time slot, with new episodes following Mondays at 10 pm after that.

The Hunting Party stars Manifest alum Roxburgh as Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, an ex-FBI agent searching for inmates who escaped from a top-secret prison after a mysterious explosion. (Watch a teaser trailer above.) Per the official logline, the series follows Bex and “a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen.”
Joining Roxburgh in the cast are Josh Mackenzie (La Brea) as Shane Florence, a former soldier and current prison guard; Sara Garcia (The Flash) as Jennifer Morales, an intel officer and major in the Army; Patrick Sabongui (The Flash) as CIA agent Ryan Hassani; and Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Oliver Odell, Bex’s former partner.
The Hunting Party hails from series creator JJ Bailey, who also wrote the pilot episode. Bailey will serve as co-showrunner alongside Jake Coburn (co-creator of NBC’s The Endgame).
