Hunting Coyote Leaps Through Snowy Field Near Aspen, Colorado

A Colorado resident captured a coyote searching for its prey in the wintry landscape of Snowmass Village near Aspen, footage taken on December 2 shows.

This video filmed by Barry Stevenson shows a coyote hunting in a field located four miles away from the Snowmass Ski Area in Colorado, he told Storyful.

“It took the inexperienced coyote several frustrating attempts before she successfully caught a meal,” Stevenson said. “Coyotes are omnivores, so they eat both plants and animals, like unlucky field mice that live under the snow in the winter.”
