Hundreds of revellers celebrate on hottest New Year's eve since 1990 in the UK

The footage shows people celebrating in Nottingham city centre on the hottest New Year's eve since 1990. Long queues could be seen outside some clubs and pubs. Despite COVID concerns with the Omicron variant spreading in Britain, pubs and restaurants remained open. England was the only country in the UK where people could celebrate at bars and clubs as Wales and Scotland took a more stricter approach to stem infection rates.
