Humpback whales arrive at Colombia's Pacific coast to mate

From July to October, humpback whales return to the warm tropical waters of Colombia's Pacific coast where they were born, to start their mating ritual. According to recent studies, around 2,000 humpback whales arrive to the Colombian Pacific Ocean in one of the most impressive migration process of the animal world. Humpback whales are robust mammals, they measures can reach 16 metres, can weight up to 36 tonnes and swim up to 15 kilometres per hour.
