Towering “smokenados” swirled near Flagstaff, Arizona, on June 12, as the Pipeline, Haywire, and Double fires prompted evacuations in the area.

Cynthia Kobold captured footage of the dark smoke funnels forming as the Pipeline fire burned north of Flagstaff.

Authorities arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with the fire on Sunday, although the cause of the blaze is still under investigation, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
