A fireball flashed through the sky above Eagle, Idaho, on Sunday, November 13, as the American Meteor Society (AMS) reported sightings across several states.
Footage posted to Facebook by astrophotographer Jordan Ragsdale shows the fireball flashing brightly in the sky over the Boise suburb at 4:36 am on November 13. “We had a HUGE meteor explode W/SW of Boise,” he wrote on Facebook.
“This is probably the brightest one I’ve seen in over a year. It was a very large explosion, and exploded near the center of Oregon,” Ragsdale told Storyful. Credit: Jordan Ragsdale via Storyful
