HS2 protesters fence off woodland in Buckinghamshire, South East England

HS2 protesters fenced off a public footpath and woodland known as the Spinney in Buckinghamshire, southeast England, on Tuesday morning (February 16) The area is a part of the High Speed 2 rail link from London to Birmingham, and footage from the area shows a number of people on site. National Eviction Team (NET) bailiffs for HS2 worked together with local police, who used a drone above the woods. HS2 protesters are living in the woods nearby in an attempt to stop HS2 from felling the trees. According to local media, the landowner was allegedly not notified by HS2 protesters in advance.
