Houston Sky Lit Up by Lightning as Storm Knocks Out Power for Thousands

Storms with strong winds and lightning knocked out power for nearly 160,000 customers in Houston, Texas, early on April 29, according to ABC 13.

Click2Houston.com reported the storms “brought lightning, thunder, high winds and even some hail as it moved through the area,” with the high winds “causing overturned trucks, tree damage and even knocking over a gas station awning.”
