Hot and Dry Conditions Fuel Out of Control Fremont Creek Fire in British Columbia

Dry and hot conditions helped drive growth of the Fremont Creek Fire near Ashcroft in Canada’s British Columbia province on July 18.

Evacuation alerts were in place for the village of Ashcroft, as well as the Ashcroft Indian Band, according to British Columbia Fire Service.
