Creator Peter Moffat originally conceived Your Honor as a single season show. Cranston plays respected New Orleans Judge Michael Desiato, who went to great lengths to cover up his son, Adam’s (Hunter Doohan)’s hit and run accident involving a member of a local crime family.
Season 1, which was based on the Israeli series Kvodo created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, became the most-watched debut season on Showtime ever with 6.6 million weekly viewers.
Following its breakout ratings success in 2020, Your Honor was renewed for a 10-episode second season that followed Assistant U.S. Attorney Olivia Delmont (Rosie Perez), who takes Michael out of prison to help him bust up the crime family.
Your Honor is produced by CBS Studios in association with KingSize Productions. The series is executive produced by Moffat, Robert and Michelle King and Liz Glotzer.
